they drop the streaming price from banks and spike the market in one direction in order to execute stop loss orders at non market prices.
I know people who have tried to sell the spike as an arbitrage
an have either got nothing done
I saw a spike/flash in Euro one time with a 3.8 something it doesn`t matter at that point if you have no stop loss order on a short euro trade you are stoped on a margin stop
